Certified Electronic Transcriber
(American Association of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers)
This is a study course guiding students through the Best Practices Guide available at AAERT to assist with passing the Certified Electronic Transcriber (CET) examination at AAERT.
Must have own purchased copy of AAERT's Best Practices Guide to navigate through this course, with the goal of taking and passing the national CET examination. The guide is purchased directly from AAERT. Best Practices Guide - AAERT
Obviously, no guarantees can be made that anyone will magically pass the national CET examination by taking this course, but the student will have a much better understanding of the contents of the guide. After taking this course, a student should feel ready to pass the CET exam administered at the American Academy of Electronic Reporters and Transcribers.
Some prior legal transcription experience is very helpful to fully understand all the material in the guide. (We also offer complete top-to-bottom legal transcription training in a different course.)
Course includes:
- Downloadable notes that correspond with the videos.
- Downloadable sample pages.
- Downloadable templates.
- Audio for Practice Transcription.
- Practice Creating Headers in Microsoft Word.
- Graded quizzes.
We wish everyone taking this course 100% success in earning their CET certification. That is an achievement worthy of celebration!
CET eligibility can be found on AAERT's website: AAERT - AAERT
